LIGHTCREST-LTE luminaire controller brings control to individual luminaires while serving as a network gateway. Installing into any standard NEMA socket, LIGHTCREST-LTE integrates seamlessly with the HORIZON lighting management platform, functioning as both a controller and network data transmission gateway, utilizing RF and LTE communication technologies to reliably transmit data and maintain continuous connectivity. Operators can apply dimming profiles, astronomical and calendar-based schedules, and adaptive lighting rules to each luminaire individually or across entire groups, adjusting output to traffic, season, and local conditions.

Adaptive lighting feature

How it works in real life

LIGHTCREST-LTE is a smart urban lighting controller that doubles as the network gateway. Fitting into the standard NEMA socket on top of the luminaire, it requires no additional wiring or complex installation: a simple twist-lock connection is all it takes. Once installed, LIGHTCREST-LTE controls its own luminaire exactly like a standard LIGHTCREST unit, while simultaneously collecting data from every LIGHTCREST controller in the surrounding RF mesh and relaying it to the HORIZON urban lighting management platform over LTE. Because the gateway lives in the same socket as any other controller, cities gain full network connectivity without additional dedicated gateway devices. City operators get precise, per-luminaire control from a single dashboard: adjusting brightness, setting schedules, detecting faults instantly, and activating adaptive lighting based on real-time sensor data.
